Lead Curator Talk on Looking: Out, At, In, and Back Again

While attending William & Mary, I participated in "Neuro-Aesthetics: The Artist and The Mind," a cross disciplinary course combining Art History and Psychology taught by Elizabeth Mead and Jennifer Stevens. The course used the Muscarelle Musuem of art in Williamsburg, VA as its "laboratory" to discuss the intersection of art and psychology in a curatorial museum setting. Under the direction of Mead and Stevens, the students had access to the Muscarelle's permanent collection to curate a cohesive exhibition that explored collective perseptions and influences on principles of artistic creation and appreciation.
